Our guide for Otero County voters on Election Day, Nov. 2

According to the Otero County Clerk's Office, 1,679 voters had cast absentee ballots or voted early as of Oct. 29.

Of those voters, 951 were registered Republican, 555 were registered Democrat and 173 were self-identified as "other."

Data from the New Mexico Secretary of State's office showed Otero County vote counts at only 1,474 by Oct. 29. That data showed 858 were registered Republican, 476 were registered Democrat, 126 declined to state a party affiliation while 10 were registered Libertarian and four were registered as "other."
